I have a bald crown - I just tell the gals its a solar panel for a love machine....
Told my barber I wanted "corn rows" like the black guys, he said, "but you've got a crop circle back here".
I have two bald spots at eye level where the hairline is supposed to be. Wearing a cover for 23 years did it, but the two years as a Drill Instructor wearing the campaign cover was the icing on the cake. I have a "groove" on my skull.

I've been losing my hair on top of my head since the mid 50's. Right now, I'm pretty thin on top.
Probably half bald, but I shaved it all off in 1997 and keep it that way so I don't really know.

Not bald but what used to be dark brown hair is now rather silver.
Funny thing, I grew up thinking I would be bald by age 21, like my father, all my uncles and all of their male offspring's. That loss of hair happened just like clockwork. For some reason at 78 I still have most of my hair just as said before a serious color change!:D

Hair patterns skip generations, so you would take after your maternal grandfather

Thanks but in my paternal side of the family I can see 4 generations in a row that had the hair loss problem. I realy thought I would also, double so as I always wore a hard hat or welders hood. Rumor had it that those tight bands contributed to loss.
You might be right as per my maternal grandfather, my positive hair had to come from some ware. He knocked out 4 kids as fast as possible and then died at 21 in 1908. They married real young in them days!
PS my two boys now in their 50s are well endowed with head hair!:D

Opposite here. Both my grandfathers had full heads of hair. My dad did, and his brother did. My brother and I, and our cousin, balding in our 20's. Dad died at 79 with all his hair, his 85 year old brother has all his, but his 50 year old son is bald. The culprit? My paternal grandmother's father, who was Welsh, and lived from 1860 to 1940. He was bald as an egg. My mother's family all had hair like Frankie Avalon. No baldness anyplace. Guess my brother and I got lucky. And I think Yadkin would look great with a comb-over. It would match his pocket protector.

Ha, I don't give a damn, although I was a bit nervous when I first chopped it off 26 years ago -- I figured I might never get laid again. But the vast majority of women don't care at all. Plus, they expect it as we age.
Didn't Rudy Giuliani go on TV some years back with the paint running down his forehead? Just going from memory, too lazy to Google it.

Inherited traits are all a crapshoot. There are no rules, and nobody can predict it.
It *may* mean something . . . or it may not.

Don't try that flirty shit with me, you'll get nowhere!:kick:
I had a ridiculous amount of hair in my teens and early 20s. Late 20s, my hairline pulled back some. I was afraid it would pull back all the way to the back of my head, but didn't, I just have an extra half inch to an inch of forehead. It really hasn't changed since then. In my 40s, I got a little thinner in the crown, so it is now possible for me to get a sunburn on my head if I am out in the sun all day. Definitely doesn't look anywhere close to bald though.
I’m a hairy monkey. Still have most of it on top. Losing it on my legs though. :island14:
