We went to FTL Beach, after dark, parked on beach side, this was before no parking after dusk and open container rules.
Cops would come by, tell us to put our beers away, hit us up for some Skoal, and advise they would be back in two hours and would prefer not to see us.

I was able to get into a lot of bars & drink as a teenager.

Even though. .03 is bullshit, it taught me a lesson at a young age. After that, I was too scared to drive after drinking. I always looked at it as "is this ride worth $10k+ & loss of my license?" Then I would get a DD or even order a taxi (before Uber & Lyft)
