I had a '56 Imperial. Had to take bumpers off so could fit in 24' garage and walk behind it.
I unfortunately had to get rid of it when I moved.

Virgil Exner's 'Forward Look', and he was right. Starting in '57, Chrysler cars looked 5 years newer than anything else. Long, low, lean, and wide. The other makes were all tall, narrow, and clunky. And didn't have Chrysler's torsion bar suspension. Funny, because if you roll it ahead 10 years, Chrysler cars looked 5 years behind everybody else. They had lost Exner by then.
