Got beat up pretty good crossing New Mexico in the motorhome .. feel lucky to be alive .. I need a dash cam to video some of this crap. Both lanes standing still on I-40 in construction merge and all the sudden the left lane starts moving and my lane just sitting there , pretty soon left lane is hauling ass by us and we still just sitting there behind semi truck. I see a break and whip my whip around him into left lane to find that SOB had fallen asleep and nobody in front of him for miles ! :kick: Hell he’s prob still sitting there with a mile of cars stacked up
What are we doing?

I had a good Saturday. I got out early and had to go to the post office to sign for a package. Why an adult signature was required for some watermelon seeds, I'll never know but I will be less likely to buy off that company again. Then I went to the dump to get rid of my trash (we do not have trash pickup where I live). At that point, it was 10:30 and already 93 degrees, heading to 99. I came home and grilled some cheeseburgers for the missus and myself and pretty much spent the rest of the day in the pool reading a good book. Knocked back some beers in the afternoon and prepared dinner, which was baby back ribs cut into individual ribs and done on the stovetop with garlic, rosemary, and white wine as taught by Marcella Hazan. Some three-cheese raviolis and a fresh marinara sauce with some garlic toast rounded the meal out.
Took the C5 vert for a ride early before the heat got unbearable and stopped for a nice breakfast. Spent the morning planning a road trip this fall, making some reservations and figuring the timeline. Went to see Jackson Browne last night.

Took LilRed out first for a cruise, got back home before a t-storm broke out…after that cleared out, took the Bimmer out for Part Two.
Saw this at the Sheetz near Winchester VA. All in all a very good cruise day :lilred:

Should have gone for a ride, but spent all day Saturday working on the gauge cluster out of the Porsche and didn't finish until Sunday. I will be using the bike all week for commuting though.
