Not much money there, I over paid for mine last year at $19K I think. 50K mile 2004, can buy the same car today for $15K if you're patient. The old C3 is worth far more, they are tough items to peg a value as assets anymore.

As far as the values, the market hasn't tanked yet, not $4000 in one year. A clean low mileage 2004 Coupe will still bring close to around $18-19k. Paid $19,500 in February for my 33,000 mile 2000 FRC, and still worth that now.

Of course it helps to have one of the rarest Corvettes made, with low miles and of course the purist six speed manual!

Thanks, 79 L82 auto. The registry shows it as a 1 of 1 which doesn't mean much on a 79 but still makes it a little different. Also, only 17K miles and a few upgrades that can be reversed. Converted to a Sniper EFI system and changed to true dual exhaust, does well at shows. Not the most flashy C3 but was my bucket list car.

These are not the ones that screw on over the lamps, they’re on with double sided tape and now seem to be baked on. I tried removing them but I could see where the face was starting to pull away from the base so I stopped and ordered a new set.

Thanks, 79 L82 auto. The registry shows it as a 1 of 1 which doesn't mean much on a 79 but still makes it a little different. Also, only 17K miles and a few upgrades that can be reversed. Converted to a Sniper EFI system and changed to true dual exhaust, does well at shows. Not the most flashy C3 but was my bucket list car.
