Many of those are kids or young adults. Would you rather they be out doing something nefarious instead? Geez...why not just be impressed without all the negativity and insults?

He wasn't anything. When I was in college, I solved it in about 3 weeks. Piker.

I've had a Rubiks' Cube for about 20 years and I haven't solved it yet. I'm going for the duration record.

Do it the DJ way.... peel the stickers off and put them back on like you solved it.

You don't even need to do that. The cube itself is pretty easy to take apart, just put it back together with all the colors matched up, and look like a genius to your friends.
My wife and I have watched the competitions on TV a few times, and those guys are pretty amazing. They do 4x4 and 5x5 cubes unbelievably quickly too.

Much quicker times can be had if you take it apart,,,
Spoiler...
There's a mathematical progression used on the cube that is only a few specific moves repeated until solved. The cubes are randomly mixed, by machines, prior to a solution being attempted.
Billions of attempts are made every year. The contestant looks at the cube for a pattern that determines the physical orientation he places the cube in at the start.
So, with a set pattern, and billions of random attempts, this is no different than someone winning the lottery; this lottery being the random mix that he was presented was perfect for a quick solution.
