She just got back from Spring Nats in Lincoln, NE and she's been running with the boys in the STX class. She finished 6th of 12 in Lincoln.
Here are the two Charlotte Videos...for the record, she would have won the women's class at both events. :yesnod: She's determined to be the best of the best, regardless of gender. This car is only very recently sorted out. She's finally comfortable in it, and I expect great things out of her.

2013 Subaru BRZ with mods to qualify for STX class. This is the same event that she won me a $700 tire in my 2021 in the Pro Solo last year. :yesnod:
Here's the $700 lap...clearly a much faster car, but different class:

I can tell she’s only using one foot-gas/brake. She might gain a bit if she learns to 2 foot for non shifting courses. That would take that gap from brake coast to gas away.
I take it back-video #2-great transitioning from brake to throttle

Problem with 2-foot braking in this sport is the seat. Without a seat, you are not braced, and as quickly as the turns come, you set yourself up for being out of position.
When I get my 2008 Z back up and running this winter, it has a Kirkey racing seat, 5-point harness, and lightness. I can do that easily in this car, but not the 2009 or the 2021.

<VettemanJack> Great video I am glad your daughter won the race thank you for sharing </VettemanJack>
But...but...she didn't win. Her boyfriend/co-driver did win, so there's that. :yesnod:

LOL, that's a conversation for another day. The racing community knew my daughter was dating him a year before I "was made aware". I knew. Her current beau and I conversed in the Titan Motorsports trailer when we were in Lincoln, NE in 2019. I was bragging on my daughter, and he expressed his interest. He's 11 years older....uuugh, but he has a professional job, as does she, and they don't do debt, and get to run around the country racing his car.
Honestly, I'm kind of jealous. I wish I had a spouse with the same interests.

ROFL. Same here. I was one of the last to know when my daughter got serious with her ex hubby.
Of course I told her, he wouldn’t have been an ex to begin with, as I knew he was a jerk to start with.
