View Full Version : Russian man eaten by shark in Egypt
Warning: video is very graphic...:yesnod:
https://www.thedailybeast.com/tourists-watch-russian-man-get-devoured-by-shark-on-egypt-beach
.....Terrifying footage of the encounter shows hotel staffers screaming for swimmers to get out of the water as the shark’s fin can be seen approaching.
Popov can then be seen struggling with the shark before it becomes clear to all those watching that it’s a losing battle. According to Russian media reports, his father was watching on the beach at the time of the attack, and Popov had cried out for him as he struggled to escape the shark.
“It’s eating his remains now,” one witness who filmed the attack can be heard saying. Shortly after, the beast pulled him completely underwater......

Red Sea is notorious for sharks. But, once you enter the oceans anywhere, you are no longer top of the food chain.

It was on the news a few weeks ago; these things are highly active this year.

Yes, when the shark's body arched, that was the end of Vladimir. RiP

Had this happened in 2020, the official cause of death would have been the Chinese sniffles, so you figure it out.

It's not shark week yet either.
Never, EVER mess with sharks, bears, wild boars and mother-in-laws!!
You forgot the gators, for those relegated to live in Floriduh.
At least on land with bears, a pistol can be carried. Not so much when swimming...

As far as which animals have led to the most deaths in North America, it's the brown bear with 70 victims, followed by sharks and snakes with 57 each, black bears with 54, alligators with 53, cougars with 16, polar bears with 10 and wolves with two.Sep 7, 2021

How many people in FL dies annually from alligator attacks, please reply, thanks.
Actually, I can assist, as you will probably take the high, or BS, road.
https://www.tcpalm.com/story/news/local/2023/02/21/alligator-attack-florida-gator-kills-boy-disney-how-many-attacks-are-there-what-should-you-do-bitten/69926522007/
From 1948 to 2021, 442 unprovoked bite incidents have occurred in Florida. Twenty-six of the bites resulted inpeople being killed by wild alligators.
A total of 303 people have received major injuries and 139 have received minor injuries over the same time period.
The deadliest year on record for deadly alligator attacks was in 1993, when two people were killed.
In 1977, 13 people received major injuries, followed by 11 in 2001 and 10 in 2017.
Yep, 26 deaths in 73 years, which is 0.35 deaths per year, 1 death every 3 years--most are in waters for which they ignored multiple warnings, these are not waterfront grabs.
More people than the 26 die in nc each week due to shitty contractors who think there are engineers.

Do not provide him with THE FACTS, he has FDS, Florida Derangement Syndrome,
That, and his is bitter about living in a rapidly declining state, with no driveway protection rules, that is barely purple today, and will be solid blue by 2024.

I still say your chances of being killed by Granny Scandals is greater than that of getting eaten by a shark.

It's easier to list the ones that Floriduh doesn't have. Then add in all the poisonous and disease carrying biting insects....

"Driveway protection rules". Funny how you champion regulations but claim to be a conservative Republican.
NCDOT regulates width and location of driveways on all state roads. These include the 4-digit roads that are signed as local roads.
NC may have a Democrat governor, but we have veto-proof GOP majorities in both houses. Not exactly a "purple" state.

That's what spear guns are for, Yad. No worries. Bad Cad may have hit a nerve when he stated the obvious about your state turning blue. I have relatives there and that has been my observation as well. NC is so far left of SC these days it's shocking. You'll be wearing tie-dyed shirts and patchouli oil in no time.
And listening to the Grateful Dead.

I literally pet sharks when I'm scuba diving....people on land scare me 1,000X more.
Watched it. Didn’t bother me. Life is dangerous.

Drowning is one of the worst ways to go, shark attack is just drowning while bleeding
I'll take the cancer death loaded up on morphine easily over that.

Beneath Egypt's sun, where the waters flow,
A hungry shark swims, in depths below,
With sleek silhouette and eyes so keen,
A predator lurking, fierce and lean.
In azure depths, it silently glides,
Its hunger awakened, its senses amplified,
A creature of power, relentless and free,
Unyielding in its quest, in the depths of the sea.
Its razor-sharp teeth, gleaming with might,
A symphony of danger, a fearsome sight,
It seeks its prey, with instincts refined,
In the realm of the ocean, its kingdom, entwined.
Through coral reefs and hidden coves,
The shark hunts with stealth, the hunger it behoves,
It senses the scent of vulnerability,
As it roams the waters, a force of ferocity.
Yet, let us not forget, amidst the fear,
That sharks are creatures we must hold dear,
For in the balance of nature's grand design,
They play a vital role, a truth so fine.
So, as the hungry shark roams the Egyptian shore,
Let us admire its grace, forevermore,
For in the vast expanse of ocean's might,
A delicate harmony exists, day and night.
And as the hungry shark claims its prey,
Let us remember the circle of life, we say,
In the depths of Egypt's waters, so vast,
Nature's wonders unfurl, from the present to the past.
