This short video is from my wife's dash cam from this afternoon. Ironically, I was coming from the other direction turning right into our community, and even took a picture of the crash. I have a much longer video version, including salty language from my wife toward the 13%er behind her, but the HILARIOUS part of this video is the Morgan and Morgan law firm radio ad, that plays nearly instantly after the crash. My '09 Z shows up in the longer video. :lol:

Yes, those turning left clearly had a green arrow.

She went to Target to use up gift cards before that shit show closes down too. Her packages were in the passenger front seat, and Subaru is relentless with their safety ding dongs. She always wears her seat belt.

Couple who live in our neighborhood were the victims of this BS. Cop gave the regular "He said...she said" during the accident session. My wife posted on nextdoor.com that we had the video, they came over, and they are OVER THE MOON. Husband was still in shock, and not 100% sure if he was in the right or wrong. Now they have irrefutable proof that he's 100% in the right, and the other mofo is going to be paying.

Christ, they are leaving tomorrow for Brazil for a week. Imagine that accident messing up your vacation. At least they now know for sure and have the proof to back it up. :yesnod:

Wife's dash cam caught an accident. The neighbors in the accident were very thankful that we have video proof that they were not at fault.

Funny part was the radio advertisement on the audio when the truck came to a stop advertising the Morgan and Morgan Law Firm asking if you were hurt in an accident.

Yeah, I had to watch it two or three times before I figured out what happened. DW's wife is coming up to a light, she is in the left turn only lane, with a white truck in front of her, possibly another car (hard to tell) in front of them, and then a dark grey pick-up in front of them. The green left arrow comes on, and the grey pick-up is the second vehicle to turn left with the arrow. A sedan coming the other way, and (if the light was working correctly) runs a red light and crashes into the grey pick-up.

I think the only doubt here is whether or not the light was working properly. If so, no doubt the car ran a red light and hit the truck turning left with the left green arrow.

A few years ago I helped a lady (recently came here from Africa) who was t-boned by a texting twit...
Texty twit got out of her car pointing fingers when she clearly blew a red light. ( she was in the lane next to me and I could see her on her phone )

Nobody stopped to check on either of them or offer testimony.
I told her and the officer exactly what happened and that I was willing to complete a deposition if need be.

She called me 6 months later to thank me; really sweet lady.

Both the truck's left turn lane and the opposing left turn lane appear to have a green left turn signal, as the video shows such.

The car is at 100% fault, unless they voted for depends joe, which gets you a free pass on all things.

Our light is fully functional. That white truck was the "other" witness saying that this happens all of the time in this intersection. The reality is the fact that there were no other cars coming from East-to-West on this road is a rarity, and I believe them to have not been focused. That same white truck is in the picture I took from the '09Z.

That bozo was in my turning lane blocking my ability to get into my neighborhood. Eventually they moved.

I need to dig up the dash cam video from the '09 as well, because I'd be able to clearly show that the East-to-West drivers had a red light...assuming I was close enough. In Patty's longer video, it took the cop about 45 seconds to pull into the intersection. That would have been pretty far away from my car's perspective.

I watched it again, and the white truck slowed down pretty quickly. That stretch of road is 50 mph, but they backed off at least 100 yards early. Zero chance of a light malfunction that had two greens at the same time. Christ, the equipment is brand new after Hurricane Ian. And the pattern changes nearly daily regarding who gets to go.
