I assume you're talking per gallon. Not per quart. I hope that stuff saves your Macan engine. I know, I know....I'm obsessing here.

I remember about 40 years ago Mobil One was factory fill on the newest C4 Corvette. It was exotic at the time. Since then, in most of the tests I read and have read, it ranks up at the top of oils. Castrol usually ranks near or at the bottom, which surprised me. The Walmart stuff was right up there with Mobile One, so I use it in my '05 Tundra. The other 4 vehicles get diesel-spec Rotella.
Just got back from a 2700 mile road trip in the '67 GTO and it used a half quart of oil total. Not bad for an engine I rebuilt in 1988 that has 85,000 miles on it. Got 20.6 mpg average, too.80941

You might be surprised how many things cost less than their packaging. I've only ever bought drinking water in gallon jugs for example. If not for the container it'd be free.
