An adult was shot at a northeast Las Vegas Valley middle school today, and while the incident remained active, there appeared to be no further threat, Metro Police said.
The shooting was reported about 12:40 p.m. today at Ed Von Tobel Middle School, 2436 N. Pecos Road, police said.
An adult was hit by gunfire and taken to University Medical Center, police said. Their condition was not released.
The suspect has not been apprehended, police said, without providing additional details.
The school was placed in a hard lockdown but was subsequently cleared, police said. The school was conducting a controlled release of the students, police said.
Police asked people to avoid the area.

An adult school monitor was shot.
No specifics regarding injuries were made public, other than taken to hospital.
No specifics about where on campus shooting took place, may have been in a parking lot, or in a field.
No students involved, shooter WAS NOT a student, no students injured, no students were shot at.
BUT, this is a school shooting, just ask any member of the liberal press.

I think we all realize certain DC idiots never want to take time to view the real statistics, as it will eff with their agenda.
More people die from bad weather each year in The USA than from mass shooting, I say we get rid of bad weather, and then we discuss how to keep bad people and those with mental instabilities from having guns.

More people get shot on a hot weekend in Chicago than your average "mass shooting". But that doesn't fit the democrat's agenda.
