My 1st cell was mounted in the truck and had the little pigtail antenna on the roof.
About 1983.

My first was one of the “bag phones “. Kept it in the car with a magnetic mount antenna.

One of LeBlonde CNC milling machines at work was acting up. Our local fix it guy Jimmy got one of the LeBlonde factory guys on the phone using facetime and he walked us thru the settings on the control and had it back in business in about 15 minutes.

I started trying to get parts in the cell phone market in the late 80's. Finally got in in the mid 90's. Good times!!

I remember my first one was in 2001; I kept running away from it because I didn't want to be reached.
