Gotta give Piers Morgan credit. I'm not a fan of his but he did a good job with this interview.
It's an hour long, but I encourage everyone to watch it to get a better idea of what DeSantis as POTUS might be like.

And I agree, but he WILL NOT run in 2024 UNLESS before Iowa the polls prove he can beat Trump, by a margin he is comfortable with.
He is not entering if he thinks he can lose, by any margin.
Makes no sense, he is GOV until 2026, he can four more years of great work done, while telling the press to look at our stats.
In 2028 he will have to beat a bunch of nobodies in the primary, and then probably face cumalot, she is easy fodder, much easier than Trump or depends joe.

DeSantis is articulate, glib and can use his opponents own actions in his response to some of their attacks....

We beat a bunch of nobodies in 2020, how did that work out?

Florida may soon pass Constitutional permit-less carry and I have mixed feelings about that - at least with the permit you had to have a CCW class or be a veteran. I see so much improper gun discipline by people that should no better that its incredible.

Georgia has had it for almost a year and I don't recall hearing about any issues.

George Soros backs him, so that makes me have some serious second thoughts.

Not true. George Soros doesn't back or support DeSantis.
DeSantis is doing well as FL Governor. It’s questionable as to if he will go RINO on us if he was to go to DC. With Trump we know that’s not going to happen.

We do?
We do have to wonder if Trump will continue to hire a bunch of RINOs like he did before.
We do have to wonder if Trump will propose some liberal policies like giving out more free money in an attempt to buy votes like he did before.
We do have to wonder if Trump will be able to make any lasting changes instead of just issuing executive orders that can be easily overturned on day 1 of a democrat presidency.
Trump has a history. Some of it is good (policies, even though most weren't lasting) and some of it bad (listed above and many others).
We do?
We do have to wonder if Trump will continue to hire a bunch of RINOs like he did before.
We're pretty sure this won't happen, because so many have burned their bridges with Trump. They picked their side, and that's that.
Edit: Would like to see Steve Bannon and his whiteboard back in the fold, and would love to see the folks at Judicial Watch, as well as James O'Keefe, etc. take positions of power in the next Trump administration.
Edit II: Would like to see Ivanka and Jared NOT anywhere near the WH, although I do give credit to Jared for some of the Middle East normalization agreements. Trump's approach there was the right one.....the Palestinians are never going to be satiated or satisfied, so just move on without them altogether. Israel is a threat to Muslim countries, obviously, but the even bigger threat is Iran. Getting moderate Muslim countries to codify that with normalization agreements tells both the Palestinians and the Iranians....you're both so screwed up, we'd rather do deals with our actual enemy than with you. Damn, that's got to sting.
We do have to wonder if Trump will propose some liberal policies like giving out more free money in an attempt to buy votes like he did before.
This is a BIG concern. We really didn't get to fully test out Trump's theory that a booming economy would rake in so much extra tax revenue that we could shrink deficit spending, because China (with possible help from uniparty Americans?) unleashed the Wu flu on the world. The only thing that seems probable is he won't get suckered into another "pandemic" government $$$ giveaway, since he saw how useless all of that was last go-round.
We do have to wonder if Trump will be able to make any lasting changes instead of just issuing executive orders that can be easily overturned on day 1 of a democrat presidency.
Spoiler alert: He won't. He'll run things like presidents for some time have done.....with Executive Orders that can be reversed on a whim by the next guy. And that's the way it will be no matter who wins and who is in the WH. A Trump win will just delay the inevitable implosion of America. The Marxists won when they successfully instituted the dual track long march through the institutions, as well as getting Teddy Kennedy's 1964 immigration bill passed. America was destined for 3rd World status the moment that bill was signed into law. And here we are now.
Trump has a history. Some of it is good (policies, even though most weren't lasting) and some of it bad (listed above and many others).
Fair assessment.
We do?
We do have to wonder if Trump will continue to hire a bunch of RINOs like he did before.
Doubtful. But the fact is, there is a small pool of those qualified or willing to fill many positions
We do have to wonder if Trump will propose some liberal policies like giving out more free money in an attempt to buy votes like he did before.
Pretty sure that was Covid related. It sucks but that whole situation was unprecedented. And the fall out from "not helping those in need" would have been...well, you know...
We do have to wonder if Trump will be able to make any lasting changes instead of just issuing executive orders that can be easily overturned on day 1 of a democrat presidency.
That takes legislative action. When the republicans had the house and senate during his 1st 2 years, the RINO's bought into the democrats bullchit russia crap and not willing to work with him. You know, the same republicans who campaigned for years on the very policies Trump was promoting. In this reguard the democrats won, big time. :yesnod:
Effin douchebag RINO fools.
Trump has a history. Some of it is good (policies, even though most weren't lasting) and some of it bad (listed above and many others).
Best part of his history is he is willing to go to the mat and fight against the DC corruption (and that includes the media). That tenacity alone is worth my vote. :seasix: :cert:
