Update on my lung cancer

Well it's been a rough last 5 months for me. I had 18 strong chemo treatments given in 6 3 day intervals. I lost my hair and 20 lbs. I have had a lot of pain in my right arm and chest area. Pain pills did nothing. On Dec. 2 I had a Nuclear bone scan and a Cet scan. No cancer in my bones and the cet scan showed that the chemo shrunk my tumors. My doctor said that I can now stop chemo and go into an approve immunotherapy treatment plan. I had my first immunotherapy treatment Feb. 2 and another cet scan a another MIR scan. The cet scan showed more tumor shrinkage and the MIR scan showed no cancer on my brain I have gained 15 lbs. am eating better and sleeping better Each day me and my wife walk length of our house 15 times after breakfast, lunch and dinner. I feel that I may be seeing light at the end of the tunnel as please keep praying for me.:cert:

You've got this! That chemotherapy is horrible. You're basically poisoning your whole body, hoping the cancer dies first. I'd expect that you continue to rapidly feel better now that you're done with that.

Now you've got to buckle down and focus on eating right, exercise, positive attitude, and deciding what hair style you're going to go with once the hair grows back.
