Had two trees literally "in the wires" close to the property line ( my side). One tree guy was working down the road ( I had purchased firewood from him before ) so I asked him about a quote. He took a look and himed and hawed and later said he didn't want to do it.

My wife saw a local guy advertised in the local paper so we emailed him. He came out and looked and gave a very reasonable quote. He came this morning. I added one tree in the back was too rotten for me to safely cut and he said he'd do for an additional $150 ( all trees were cut and dropped. I take care of clean up )

Here's video of the dead tree. It basically exploded when it hit the ground.

The bucket truck guy ( who was an animal the way he manhandled the cut pieces) started out front with the other two trees.

and finally felling what was left of the maple tree
( the bucket guy was on the ground and I heard him say " I think I missed that chainsaw when I was sharpening them" )

This is the smaller of the two piles I get to clean up.
