How in the hell do you run over yourself in a tracked snow plow?:sadangel:

My bad. Jeremy Renner ran over himself plowing snow.:sadangel:

Ken Block, rally car driving champion, action sports star, and DC Shoes co-founder is dead at the age of 55 following a snowmobile accident in Utah, TMZ Sports has learned.

Details surrounding the accident are not yet clear. Block's team, Hoonigan, released a statement on the tragedy ... saying, "Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband."

"He will be incredibly missed."

Block was in Utah snowmobiling ... and posted pictures on Instagram earlier Monday morning.

Rode one once. Did two loops of a house before realizing I'd never get back on another one due to the unresponsive handling characteristics. Why bother with handlebars if control is a matter of wishful thinking? That just makes no sense to me.

How did it happen? I've heard of guys losing their heads (literally) by running through a buried wire fence.

Story wasn't specific. It just said a roll over in steep hills.

Very, very sad, dood had huge accomplishments in motorsports.

Never been on a snowmobile, too damn dangerous at high speeds.
Knew a dood, about my age, loved speed, 16 years ago while near Jackson Hole he rented one, was very experienced, day ended, return line was long, told his group he would be back after a quick run, never returned, they found him lodged in a tree, died instantly from severe head trauma.

Yeah, I love speed, 180+mph in my C6 and 165 in my V1 at 1-mile event, but have some rules.

I don't really follow sports but I've been a huge fan of Ken Block for years and years. Have seen him drifting on a barge and doing crazy rally driving on tough courses, etc. He was a hell of a talent. One of those rare humans with reflexes about 4 times faster than normal.

RIP with much respect. A great loss. At least he died doing what he loved, so there's that.
