Looks like an early to mid-40s Dodge.

Most likely a homeless encampment.

That's a crisp photo....crisp enough to show all the oil leaks on the concrete from bad seals/gaskets and no PCV systems. :Jeff '79:

That would have been my guess. Looks like it was replaced in 1952 with CBS Television City (https://waterandpower.org/museum/Early_LA_Buildings%20(1925%20+)_7_of_8.html#Television_City)

Looks like the glass bottles used up thru the 40's. They bring some pretty good money on the collector market now.

[Lars] I’d buy that and drop a full tractor front bucket load of broken concrete brickbats straight into the bed

That can’t be Los Gangeles there isn’t graffiti everywhere

In 1948 the Mexicans were up in Central California picking vegetable's and fruits no graffiti back then. That's where Steve_R and his family came from. His name is Steve Rodriquez. :yesnod:

I’d love to have that and have the farm name painted on the doors. Be stylin at the hardware store or tractor supply. :D

It would look pretty awesome towing a trailer with a John Deere tractor on it
