I thought that, too. They had to do quite a bit of work to find the tapes of him getting to the airport w/no luggage, then leaving with some, then traveling other places with the luggage, as well. I think they even got the views from the Uber drive and the hotel and another flight.

That had to take a whole lot of man-hours. So yea- very sus- even if it was a $2500 claim/charge of felony.

Either someone was out to get him, or he stole exactly the wrong person’s bag.

When I think of all the times over my 45 year career that I wore my best suit, shined shoes, a freshly pressed shirt and silk tie to job inteviews to make that "all important first impression" to land a job and then I see this flippin' mess in an executive positon... Its unprofessional, demeaning and makes the public that this person serves wonder just how serious they are about a high-level position.

I worked with two "fully transitioned women at a Federal agency; they were professional, competent and serious about their work and if you didn't know it from other people you certainly wouldn't know about their journey from them - neitheir made an issue of it in the workplace. This createure is just a flagrant, unprofessional buffon and now a perpetrator of grand larceny, not even counting its thoughtless ruining of some other person's travel plans.

A further disturbing aspect as this Federal executive is so mornic that he doesn't realize there are cameras literally EVERYwhere in an airport which is how it was caught...

He was targeted. I bet LOTS of bags go missing every year at airports, and nobody puts in the hours and hours of investigation, watching videos from different airports, etc. to track down a luggage thief. Somebody WANTED to nail this freakshow. I don't really know what he could have done to earn the ire of the Brandon regime, but he apparently did.

I guarantee you the average traveler has a bag or two stolen, and nobody is reviewing surveillance tape to figure out who took it. Think about it. People steal cars and there isn't that much investigative work done. Do we really think all these man hours were put into a $ 2,000 bag theft? It's not even a baggage theft ring, this guy apparently just takes at most, one at a time. Assuming he has done it before, he is a hobbyist, a thrill seeker, not organized crime.


There is a lot more to this than we are being told.
