1%r has passed

Just saw at CF that 1%r passed away on 11/24 in case you didn't see it. I've had plenty or run ins with him and he was one that was involved in trolling my personal life so I was no fan of his but I still hate to see this for his family and loved ones.

An interesting story, in the height of our feud a friend of his that was tired of his antics sent me pages of links to Jay's personal life including work, family and social media, even some of his personal medical records. Although tempted on many occasions I never used any of it and ended up deleting the file.

We reconciled some after his lengthy ban at CF, RIP Jay.

I've toned down a lot of my respnses to ascerbic posts by others on several forums. I had a bit of a "back and forth" with one CF member and he literally crashed his car and died the next day. "65tripleblack" Usually what a bruhaha is about doesn't really matter much in the big scheme of things. I've always been a scrappy Italian and have had to learn to not get "triggered" by a lot of things at this stage in life.

His habit of making things personal whenever we crossed swords was annoying to say the least but showed his true character for all to see..
In a weird sort of way I missed his crazy illogical rants when the new batch of mods appeared and calmed things down .

Not to hijack but his passing immediately after our little, but good natured "dust ip" was a wake-up call about treating people a certain way online. Somebody (maybe Paulwannafly) bought his wrecked car and has done a stunning restoration of it as a tribute to Joe.

There were a couple of us that he trolled on CF as well as where he could on social media before he had a major ban over there, I think it was like 12 or 24 months. I won't go into details or give out any of the details I was given about him, it's not necessary at a time like this.

As I said, when he came back we went back and forth a bit and he did his best to bury the hatchet, he gets kudos for that.
