Looks great as usual. BTW, whoever shot that yellow target in the last photo flinches...I recommend some dry firing and single round concentration sessions.

At 75 now, I'm losing my touch. That target was a M1 Carbine at 75 ft with some not so zeroed in peep sights. I'm not going to get any better.

Every, EVERY time I clay I drop the damn bar in the driveway. It’s gotten to the point I just buy two, take the first one, throw it in the gravel then use #2.

Same with me, so I learned to keep a clean sheet of cardboard on the floor where I'm working! :cert:

I switched to liquid clay for this very reason. :yesnod:

Depends on how badly you wish to improve. My father is 88 and we have gone pheasant hunting together every year sans 2020 since I was 12. Last year he had genuine difficulty getting in and out of the Ranger we were hunting out of, and he fell twice while out there, but he shot a bird the second day out which invigorated him greatly.
This year his mobility is vastly improved, and we hunted twice as long, and for more days than last season; seems he got excited again after his recent success and really wanted to do it for real at least one more time this season.
We are also making plans for next year already... so if you wish to improve your aim I bet you can. In fact I am certain of it.

I switched to not give a damn and drive a gray pickup truck for this very reason. :cert:

My skills have eroded, but I'm still capable of deadly self defense. Hard to believe in 2004 I was so much better, 11,800' eleveation, 280 yeards, uphill just after daylight with my BIL's rifle I'd never fired before. First of many hunts with BIL who thought I was just a dweeby "cityslicker" until this shot - he stopped with that nonsense after that.

BACK ON TOPIC: I had never heard of using a clay bar until about 10 years ago and then I became a fan; I'd do it about every 6-8 months, my cars are garaged so more than that was not needed - it really does make a nice suface for futher detailing.

I'm not a match shooter, I don't hunt, I just plink around now.
After 42 years of certifying, qualifying, during my service in different agencies, it's just a little fun time on my time for me now.
