Insightful and depressing......agree on total failure of Republican leadership to coalesce a coherent message and strategy and the last Levine observation, a lack of America loving, patriotic voters, is, unfortunately a real possibility.
Usually people vote in their own best interests ( lower prices for fuel and gas, less unpunished criminality, etc ) but the anti-MAGA, Trump haters seem not to do that and inflame others likewise.... This is not the country I grew up in and served proudly while in the military.

I think he said a large number of races are being decided by 5% or less of the vote - hence the scrambling to do extended counting by Democrats until the ballots yield acceptable results.

Perhaps. I know this; I’m not willing to jump on the bandwagon and throw the corrupt flag because my candidate lost. It’s a bitter pill to swallow to admit the beliefs of this country are shifting. Cast blame where you will, but it’s happening.

I think all voters should be very concerned that many states are unable to count all their votes on election day, TX and FL had no issues counting their votes.
When there is a pattern, that one party almost always wins races in which the votes are not counted on election day and the races is very close, we should all be suspicious, especially when it happens on every election day.
It is very rare for a pub to win a close election in which the vote tally is not finalized until days after the election.
If you recall, on 2020 election evening, multiple states shut down their counting, I believe TRUMP was in the lead, and when the vote was done he lost EVERY state.
I believe any party member would do ANYTHING to help their party, vote counters included.
NV only had to count 1M votes, FL had almost 8M,,, case closed!!

I will disagree, as the shitty economy is by design, it will last much longer than anyone is predicting, I am thinking two years.
More voters than ever want EVERYTHING for free, remember the fake inflation bill was originally $3+ TRILLION, and the timing of the student loan redistribution was very strategic for the NOV election.
I do not think beliefs are changing, you have always had those who have no confidence in their abilities, that number is growing as the current administration is sending the message that the hard workers will pay for all you want, we will get it out of them.

That's a fine looking map. :yesnod: Yet, it didn't result in the 'Red Wave.' As a matter of fact, with the exception of Florida it was pretty disappointing. Agreed?
So what's the plan Larry? How is this fixed? R can't get a DeSantis clone in every state.Voting doesn't seem to be the answer. What's the strategy moving forward? Opinions aren't shifting? Flip on the television. Watch the removal of all the Confederate statues and monuments. Check out the George Floyd tributes and tell me with a straight face they're not shifting.

I honestly think a lot of the problem is that while people like some of the work Trump did as President, they're getting a bit tired of all the tirades, accusations (true or not), arguing, blustery speech, etc.
They're perhaps not as tired of Republican ideas or values, but more just tired of Trump and don't want to vote for anybody he endorses. Like him or not, he IS polarizing.
People want their candidates to support and defend the Constitution, yet many people are saying "I support Donald Trump" instead of declaring their support of the Constitution. It may seems like a little nuanced difference, but it is tangible.

The only thing stopping American’s, is “bread & circus” still works. Doubtful that can go on indefinitely.

The dollar is still the best medium of exchange but gold is the best store of value. I recommend a combination with percentages based on individual circumstances. :yesnod:
Not to be confused with investing, Gold and silver, are monetary metals not investments, although there is speculative potential with either/both.
Also, worth mentioning IMO, Gold and Silver Eagles are legal tender in the U.S. The 1oz gold eagle has a legal tender denomination of $50.00, however, it currently retails for approximately $2,000.00. A one ounce, Silver Eagle has a legal tender denomination of $1.00 and retails for approximately $37.00
It would seem legal, simple and plausible, to arbitrage that price difference, no? IOW and for simplicity's sake, buying a car with gold and satisfying the taxes with fiat.
Edit: The official government price for gold is $42.22 per ounce. :rofl: If enough producers found the courage to use this nonsense against them, we might win one, for a change? Or hang separately.
