Today I woke up at 5am, got up and hit the desk and worked with intensity for 10 hours.

Knocked out a bunch or work on three different projects, did a live podcast off the cuff, ran to a strategy meeting with a client that is the culmination of three months of work (paid in advance…) and chased a sketchy Mexican out of my yard.

He approached me from behind as I drove into the driveway. Bad idea Senior.

Now, understand, not even the second coming of Jesus Christ himself can’t get me to up before 10am. Let alone do actual work.

My job requires a lot of mental heavy lifting which is exhausting. I’m spent, but in that “Today was a good day” sort of spent.

Old people just wake up early I'd guess. I've been waking up early too. Around 1630, but my sleep schedule is 180° out of synch with normal people since retiring from working midnights for a couple decades. Waking up at that time is like being in boot camp again, never thought I'd do that voluntarily :rofl:

At some point, get off the bikes and discover the narrows. It's like nothing I've ever seen anywhere else. Just be careful about watching for storms.
