I started watching the movie, left for an appointment, and will resume in a few minutes.

Ladies & Gentlemen, IMO, this movie is intense!

You find it on Netflix, and is longer than 2-hours.

I agree-very intense. And for Germany in both World Wars, no happy ending.

My only criticism is, choose another platform to watch it on, instead of Obamaflix.

The original is an epic depiction of the horrors of war, particularly the scene where a soldier's friends were going to conduct a mercy killing after he was exposed to mustard gas, but the corpmen showed up too soon and the guy will suffer an agonizing death anyway..
