If anyone needs anything that is not available locally, email me, Darren, at [email protected] , as if doable, I will get it done.
Bringing some items for my daugher and my bro, and another person, but can make space for more.

I should be in East Naples, I-75 and Golden Gate Exit, by 12:00 Noon, we can figure out how to meet up.
I should be there until at least 8:00 PM, have to get back home as will have both doggies with us.

Take care, be safe!!

Niece is in Ft. Myers, still running off generator and said the Publix stores are just now getting staples back on the shelves; been a bit of a rough go, but no worse than Tampa duing Irma....

Generous offer BTW...

I am back from my day-trip to Collier, as did not make it into FTM, as my bro in Cape Coral drove to Naples and then dined on glorious 5th Avenue.
My daugher is doing great, unaffected in her East Naples Apartment, missed no shifts at the hospital.
My bro has under $25K in damages, lost his Tiki Hut and a few roofing tiles, also lost the tarp on his pontoon boat, doubt he will get a dollar, as I think his deductable is 4% on $900K dwelling coverage, he has no flood damage so that should ease the pain.
Was able to get some groceries and other items to a quasi-relative, she was very thankful.

A few observations:
1) Heard depends joe was in town, so I avoided Cape Coral area
2) Had no need / duty, so did not venture into Lee County
3) Naples appears to have very, very little damage, I did not go by the beach area, but was told some lost all due to the surge / flooding
4) Naples is badarse, ICLT, great people, definitely a great place to live, Gary must have known before moving there
5) Had to hit Naples Costco, as I always go to Costco when I travel to buy the liquors behind the glass
6) At Costco, spoke to three senior citizens in the food court, DAMN, all love TRUMP, they were his hats and shirts everyday, Naples / Collier may be the best-run local governments ANYWHERE, their voters are astute and involved
7) $45.00 is too much for a fried chicken dinner on 5th Avenue at some not-so-fancy French Restaurant, never go there!!
8) Effing traffic in Naples will kill you, maybe many Lee County people on the roads there for gas and groceries, but damn, not enough wide roads

Thankful I could see family!!
Thankful that FL will once again prove they are the best in all things, as my brother was told at least 3+ weeks for electricity and water 2 days after the storm hit, well he got both on Tuesday night,,, FL, some brag, we do!!

Some of the worst traffic I have seen there, and I think each year it will get worse, as do not see the locals pushing for more lanes, and more roads, as destroys their view of their town.

But still damn good people, they 62% for TRUMP in 2016, and again 62% in 2020; only 38% of them voted for the unstable, derelict, fraudulent, incompetent, senile, irresponsible socialist large steamy pile of cow dung.

Thankfully due to the very high housing prices, socialists who do not want to work, which is all of them, cannot come in and take over.

Just like our old residence of 30 years in Destin, it was great then. Now every Florida town with a beach is a clusterfuk.
