Sitting here cooking breakfast I was wondering what is the most popular way to cook eggs. My guess would be scrambled as it's the easiest to make.
I'm an over easy guy. I like to sop up the yoke with toast. I also cannot eat any egg except for deviled and hard boiled eggs without ketchup either.
What say you Vette Barn?

Scrambled with cheese, cheese omelette with a slathering of picante salsa and Sunny Side Up. Like to dip sausage, bacon, or toast in the yolk.

Pair that with a fine bottle of chocolate milk and that's breakfast heaven.

Scrambled eggs are best, but its more labor intensive, requires washing a fork (or a whisk) and a dish prior to serving. Easiest method requires least effort.

Two over easies on top of some corned beef hash, rye buttered toast, coffee.

French omelet. And I hate overcooked eggs. If they look done in the pan, they're overcooked.

When I go to Awful House, I always get 5 eggs sunny side up on top of hash browns and four sausage patties. After I get rid of the sausage and dip it in a couple of yolks, I'll cut up what's left of the eggs and mix it in with the hash browns. Add some tobasco sauce and it's amazing!

I prefer my eggs as a omelet, but I sometimes get them sunny-up at home!

The local family owned very friendly diner up here sees me coming in the morning and just automatically starts making up my usual custom made omelet!:D

You mix your food? ON THE PLATE? Like, it touches? That’s just not right DJ.

Wife makes me breakfast every morning. So, however she cooks the eggs is how I eat them. But I really love when she makes scrambled eggs becausre they are amazingly light and fluffy when she does it compared to when I make them.

** today looks like baguette toast with spinach, avocado, tomatilla tomatoes, and scrambled eggs ** :dixie:

I buy eggs 5 dozen at a time. Usually boil the last dozen but the rest are made into fried egg sandwiches. Fry in butter, salt/pepper, on plain wheat. Two eggs per sandwich, three sandwiches is a meal. I turn the flame off after I flip them and let residual heat finish the cooking. Takes longer to eat than it does to cook :D

I love eggs, any style, except overcooked sunny-side-up, as too damn rubbery.

The wifey has a mad skill for egg quiches, I can eat that for 3+ days and not get tired of the taste.

1) lobster/eggs benedict
2) over light with a side of scrapple and wheat toast
3) Scrambled
4) ham, fried egg and cheese sandwich on a long or kaiser roll.
5) egg salad--little bit of mayo and mustard, add cayenne pepper

I like french toast. eggs and toast in one package. Eazy Peazy.

My grandfather used to drink raw eggs out of a glass. He said one raw egg a day, and a shot of whiskey at night, is the key to a long life. He lived to 95 so maybe the ornery old Irishman was on to something. :D

Mine, Scots-Irish, did the same thing when he was young and did dock work, two raw eggs for lunch then back to work. Whiskey came much later in life, in his 60s when he felt that he could afford the luxury.

Famous chef said to cook scrambled eggs using a little EVO vs anything else. Makes them light/fluffy. Heat the pan/oil to it just starts to smoke. It's then ready for the eggs. I prefer scrambled or fried. Can't stand runny!

99% of the time, scrambled with cheese. Once on the dish, add salsa or hot sauce. Good stuff

When I was deployed to Shitholeistan, I think three soldiers got sick from the eggs so the commanding General put down an order that all eggs had to have the yolk broken and hard fried, boiled, or whipped to make scrambled eggs or omelettes.

That sucked, but at least I wasn't eating the MRE with the dreaded Vomlette.

When I'm out, over easy.

I like sunny side up, but most places don't cook them enough so they still have mucous on the top.

But I cook sunny up at home, and here's a trick: Low heat, put eggs in frying pan with cover, get them nearly done, then put a bit of water in and re-cover briefly. The steam will cook the snot on the top and yolks will still be runny.

I make the SO a sunny-side up egg daily, one of the few food items she doesn't gag on - unless a piece of shell gets in there. Boy, does the fun
begin then - "next time, break it in a cup". And I'm like "why, the shell gets in the cup too!"

Kind of bums her out then when she is hospitalized, they will not serve eggs that way. Only scrambled - and cold. :sadangel:

Ha, that's how I got this trick. There used to be a local bar/restaurant that I went to all the time, and I knew the owner quite well. They served regular sit-down dinners, in addition to bar food and breakfast.

Sometimes I would get an omelette and I asked him how he melted the cheese on top -- that's exactly what he told me. So I tried it with sunny side up eggs, and of course it works great.

Was not a poached egg fan so I tried making them this morning. Followed a video from the net, they turned out pretty good. Just ate them on some toast, a little S&P, tasty.

I need a little more practice cooking, should have it down perfect soon.
