View Full Version : "IT DID NOT MELT"
Drove it in the rain yesterday for the first time, no waterfall in the interior, bone dry, quite pleased.
See, you can drive your Vette in the rain.............:D

Beautiful C3.
Its the leaks you DON'T see that are the ones that bite you later on...
Can literally feel the rust starting in all the usual places.
Ha, you beat me to it. :D
If you can't drive your classic in the rain, here in the Blue Ridge, then you can never drive your classic.
My '81 leaked when I bought it, through the top seals at the windshield, when driving at speed. New seals, proper adjustment, and no more leak there.
The only leaks it had when I sold it were small amounts at the tops of the side windows, but only after washing the car and rinsing those areas. That did not warrant replacing those seals.

About the only thing I can state positive about my '15 C7Z is that it has no leaks YET.

I never take my 84 out in the rain without flippers and a snorkel...
