Don't know about that "all you can eat" thing, I believe there is some small print somewhere indicating time limits there and amount of portions for individuals to cover these types of incidents.............maybe.

One time I was driving back from a ski trip with my son's scout trip. They were all in a bus with a few adult leaders and I was by myself in my Expedition. (We always had a car on those trips to run errands.) We stopped into an all-you-can eat buffet and I challenged several of the older kids to see who could eat more. They didn't stand a chance.

Took all my concentration to keep awake for the rest of the trip.
