SHREVEPORT, LA - Authorities said a complaint about a disorderly person resulted in the seizure of about $200,000 in marijuana plants and three arrests.
The Shreveport Police Department arrested John Hoogland, 49, D'Lisa Sanders, 43, and Jonathan Hoogland, 18. The 18-year-old is the couple's son.
Police said officers responding to an intoxication call late Friday smelled marijuana as soon as the man opened the door.
He consented to a search and officers turned up about 200 marijuana plants in a walk-in closet and a greenhouse.
Investigators said two young children in the house were turned over to state child protective agents.
