Damn... I wonder what the failure rate actually was.
A leaky cap doesn't sound so damning unless it causes an accident.

That's literally a one-minute fix for a low skilled mechanic, and gets a lot of guys into the dealership, waiting for an hour or more, looking at new inventory....

Not if you're Raazor - it took him a month to replace the gas cap on his daughter's Lexus. :lol:

I never did report this.

My Lexus wrenching failed. Lights came back on, took it Toyota, got an OEM gas cap installed.
