I had to sacrifice the fronts for R7's, hence only 2 tires vs. 4. R7's are the road race compound, and A7's (4 rears) are the autocross compound. A7's gain heat WAY faster, thus optimal for autocross. Nobody in the country can source the P265/35ZR19's. If I can find them, I'll buy 2 more sets of those for the front.

I need them for Sept. 6-9th. 5.5 sets of Hoosiers for that car since November of 21. :willy:

On a bright note, I have one of the all-time great alien drivers basically committed to co-drive my C8 in the championship. He has an extremely legit shot of winning the whole thing, and in turn winning me tires. :yesnod:

I will be towing 3 sets of wheels/tires, plus these 6 tires to Lincoln. If I can get the other 4, they will be delivered and mounted at the track in Nebraska.

I bought all 3 sets. :leaving: I may need a bigger truck to get everything to Lincoln. :willy:

Fyi... Run a cable through them and a good lock or people steal them unfortunately, assuming it's an open type. Last time guy i knew had them stolen they got all used up tires and one blown out tire, did him a favor actually.

I am the original cheap bastard, as just put the A/S 4 on my C7Z, as was only getting about 6K on PSS, was told these are good for 20+K miles, my driving style.

I only went with a R once, on my Gen 1 CTS-V, was good for one 1,320, on the second the diff grenaded, never took it back to the strip.

He has an extremely legit shot of winning in my car , and I want to make that happen. He just won the Oscado, MI ProSolo in a 2020 C8, so he's got plenty of seat time now to be able to make that happen.

After nationals, I should be set with Hoosiers to carry me through most of 2023 at my local venue. :iagree: That stack of front tires on the left is the last remaining 3 sets in the country. New production doesn't start until after Nationals. Hell, I might take the 3rd set with me to Lincoln and try and sell it for 2X what I paid. :lol:
