I have a long covered walk way that birds love to nest under the metal ridges.
I put moth balls in the valleys.
Birds didnt like it.
Starlings grabbed them one by one and tossed them; rendering white spots all over the place.

Birds = 1

I got on Amazon; ordered Owls and Hawks.
Strategically placed them.
Starlings didnt like them and left = :woohoo:
Sparrows and Finches didnt care and stayed. :skia:

I got on Amazon; ordered 200 el cheep-0 deep-0 sachet bags, and hundreds more moth balls.
Two balls per bag.
Lined every valley with a bag.
Strategically placed Owls and Hawks.

Bags everywhere?

I use deer netting to cover my awning in the fall to late spring to prevent birds from nesting in the arms......maybe that is something you could try.

The birds did not like bleach odor at all...but...the little fuggers pulled the sachet bags by the string and removed the bags with chlorine tablets still inside. :skia:

I fought goddamned poo-slinging, nesting pigeions under my boat house roof for a decade, rubber snakes, BB gun assaults, bird spikes, fake owls with spinning heads, refelctive tape and cursing until a nimbus of profanity surrounding me that kept the neighbors indoors. A creature with the brain the size of a peanut defeated all my schems and threatened violence.

Finally this summer I had this installed by a couple of fisherman who just came up with a great idea. No enclosed stuffy space without air flow, no motors and pulleys and no $7,000 price tags. I don't even put the cover on the boat anymore. Great air flow, UV protection, all sides roll up, 10 year screen guarantee. I can raise up two sides and be on the water in 5 minutes.
No more pigeons, wasps or other varmints....
