Might want to avoid an electric truck to pull that RV:

The Ford has dismal range already, adding any weight is just insult to injury

Add in the batteries they just agreed to purchase from China, so they could produce up to 600,000 EVs in 2023, and even more people are going to find disappointment by switching to an EV that was slammed into the marketplace without being fully vetted

My dumbass little brother just ordered the electric F150 and bought a smaller electric car for his wife. He likes going up Mt. Ranier, hiking, kayaking etc.... looks like there will be less of that now.

I think it’s fine as long as you want to camp in your driveway!

I agree.

And personally I would not pull a travel trailer with a 1/2 ton truck. I know they are capable on paper, and I see them all the time. But I would not do it. I like having the size and weight of the 3/4 ton diesel for towing duty.

my chevy 3/4 ton has a 36 gallon tank. but gets about 13mpg when not towing/hauling. more like 9-10 when pulling my water trailer (9,900 lb loaded).
