Better street tire is completely subjective. The Pilot Sport Cup 4S's on my Z51 C8 are the best OEM tire I've ever owned, and are amazing in the rain.
Are you looking for a competition tire, a drag racing tire, a what tire?....
Falken and Yokohama make street tires that are significantly more amazing for a handling tire than the Michelin. Falkens are the best, and the Yokes have dogshit tread life. Again, what's your intended use?
When I compete on street tires (non hoosiers), I run Falkens in the front and Yokohamas in the rear. That combo is nearly untouchable.

I like the Hankook Ventus line. Had those on my 07, and when it's time to replace the ones on the 14 too, I'll likely put those on.
Putting Nitto 555"s on the 73, but haven't driven on them yet.
answers will vary. some swear by the r888's.

You must have multiple wheel/tire combinations all ready to go? If you’re going into a weekend race and rain in in the forecast is it a simple wheel swap? I wouldn’t think breaking down tires all the time is the way to go. Or is it?

Define street tire. Cup 2's are a street tire and freaking awesome on track.

I have 3 sets of OEM C8 wheels (all with TPMS, and I have the learn tool). Because the Pilot Sport Cup 4S' are so good in the rain, they serve as my rain tires. I currently have just Hoosiers mounted on the other two sets, as Bristol, TN, and the upcoming Lincoln, NE races are in SSR. When I get back from Lincoln, one of those will go back to the competitive street tires I use for the SS class.

Just want to say they aren't Pilot Sport Cup 4S's, they are just Pilot Sport 4S's. Great tires though!
