What part of Fire AND RESCUE don't you understand?

:slap:

For the uninformed, Fire Departments are equipped with all manner of vehicles.

I am guessing you didn't see the "Don't mess with Texas: bumper sticker did you?

I have a question kind of relating to this.

When an ambulance has lights and sirens on, and is clearly speeding down the left lane of a lightly-traveled freeway...

Is it OK to pass them in the right lane? :driving:

Just wondering.

I agree that the nitwits need to get over. They should not have gotten a license without knowing what to do. But it's still an ambulance.

I know plenty of people who need to pull to the right and stay there... regardless if they blessed with broken down C4s, sirens, or not.

Watch Tuscaloosa Firefighter Recuit--A day in the Life.
My sons know the guy that was in it.

Idiots in Tuscaloosa can't drive. Emergency vehicles have a terrible time trying to respond. That's why they did the commercials.
The vehicle in the video always travels with the firetruck. It is a rescue vehicle with firefighters who are also EMT's/paramedics. We have wonderful firefighters/paramedics. I know many of them.

I pull to the right and say a prayer when I see flashing lights go by. Those guys can use all the help they can get.
