Watch this close our "beloveded" governess Kathy Hockul has said she had plans formulated in case this decision came down on their onerous "common sense gun laws". Sounds like she has a plan similar to when the Heller decision first came down.

Stock up on ammo while you can. You'll probably need to cull the herd soon enough. I hope FL can hold off long enough since we are a purple state that should be red. If it weren't for the idiot voters in Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and Jax we would be solid red.

Whitey is bad and owns too many houses

Section 8 rentals in a nice neighborhood always ends well
Why make people bring themselves up when easier to turn the whole city into a toilet

Not to mention 90% of the border area. We are doomed.
The crime and chaos brought upon border areas of Texas by the Brandon junta seems to be slowly turning the Valley and other border areas slightly less blue. At some point you'd think those people would finally have had enough of just pure lawlessness. Or maybe they'd wake up that a platform of hyperinflation and celebration of deviancy and perversion don't actually align with their actual interests.
Note that Mexican born MAGA candidate Mayra Flores just won Cuellar's seat, at least for a few months, until the mid terms.

so this morning, i'm taking my walk, headed back home, and here she comes with her doggie on the path out. we stop and chat briefly, and she mentions that yesterday 4 coyotes surrounded Vinnie before she came to the rescue and chased them off. noted that maybe she should get a pistol.
my opening!
pulled my shirt back to show off my 9mm Beretta, and offered "or maybe one of these?" more chatting, and I told her that i'd be glad to take her to the range and teach her the basics.
yep, here in NM, people carry concealed pistols, people you don't suspect. in NYC....not so much.

If the coyotes are that prevalent, she should keep Vinnie on a leash when she walks him. She probably doesn't realize how clever coyotes are at ganging up on a dog. And it's hard to avoid shooting your dog when firing at the coyotes that are tearing him apart.

Question:
Our Constitutional rights are given at birth.
They apply to all US citizens and those here that are not citizens in some cases.
They are God-given and not provided by law, but PROTECTED by law.
Because this New York law required a demand to be met, BEFORE the God-given right was permitted, it was struck down as an infringement.
Based on that, can a 7 year old buy a gun? Serious question. They have the right from birth, and it cannot be infringed.

originally you could vote if you were 21, later changed to 18. so that right has an age limit to it. congress has decided that owning a gun comes at 18 or 21 (rifle or pistol). if you want to challenge that, good luck. we generally treat anyone 18 or over as an adult, able to enter into contracts and liable to the law (not children's court). so i don't see that changing anytime. but you can loan an underage person a gun in some cases, they just can't own it directly.

Even the most libertarian minded among us, like me, agree with the fundamental concept of an "age of majority." Minors, by definition, are not adults, and as such, do not enjoy the same rights as adults, also, they receive more protections than adults, all by virtue of their status as minors.
A legitimate argument can be made for what the age of majority should be, but I don't think anyone would argue that there should NOT be an age of majority, unless you're talking about leftists who want to put their little boys in dresses and have them castrated. I mean, there really shouldn't be any age limit on that, of course.

I'm not asking about common sense because that falls into each individuals interpretation of what is common sense. No, I would not give a 5 or 7 year old a gun, BUT in the purist sense of 2A and the Constitution, not allowing it is certainly UNConstitutional.
These are BIRTH rights, not ADULT rights. If the law supports gender choice at 5 years old, then it should ABSOLUTELY support birth right at ANY age.
(I'm not making a case for giving minors weapons)
