Before San Francisco became synonymous with exorbitant real estate prices and tech bros, it was known as a beacon of acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community. While that distinction hasn’t gone anywhere — the San Francisco Pride parade is one of the largest gatherings of LGBTQ+ people annually, and it’s expected to get back to the 1 million-plus attendance mark in late June after a couple of COVID-affected iterations — Fox Sports isn’t here for inclusion.

Saturday was Pride Day at Oracle Park, and the home team dubbed Amy Schneider, a transgender contestant on Jeopardy! who won in 40 straight appearances, to throw out the first pitch. And she did a damn good job.

Dafuq? Just how delicate are you? What is another layer of leather going to do for you if you catch the ball improperly? This whole line of reasoning sounds about as useful as a football bat to me. :yesnod:

BTW: Some gloves are made to have the index finger go through the glove and remain outside the glove while the glove is in use. Some are not made that way. I have seen people leave their index finger out of a glove not made for that, which often forces them to wear the glove improperly. Best practices are to wear the glove the way the designer of the glove intended, well, if you are planning on doing any catching with it at least. Clearly, the person in the video had no intention of doing any catching that day, so who cares how they wear the glove?
