Back then gravel roads had higher speed limits than the freeways of today.
Cars didn't last long but seeing that dust cloud behind you was priceless :D

I was watching an episode of the old Bewitched. Samantha was having a woman's meeting. When they were leaving, one lady got in her 68ish Vette, another in a Chevelle SS396, another in Camaro Z28 and so on.

They're stealing catalytic converters in Houston like crazy, I mean, like thousands of them. A few days ago an off duty cop caught 3 thieves taking HIS converter, and there was a gunfight over it. Cop killed, and 2 of the three thieves wounded. Houston is devolving into a crime Hell hole. :sadangel:

Only reason I posted about the steering column thing was because it's new to me. Although according to the story it's been happening for a few years so maybe I'm just the last to know :rofl: Wouldn't be the first time, I avoid most common forms of mass social science experimentation (brainwashing).
