Nice, has the rare brushed horn button. It was changed somewhere during the production run to a painted button due to sun reflection could be a problem for the driver. My 77 also had the brushed button.

I don't know. It's a little high but I looked around a lot for a few months before I bought my '94. Found lots of late 70's C3's with prices around 10k. Actually looked at a red '76 a couple of weeks ago with 110k that was clean as hell. Asking 10k. I offered 9k and got a flat no.

The 73-77 is by far my favorite C3. The set back rear window is so much cooler than the bubble that came out in '78. It is truly the last shark. Having said that, I can't envision buying a car at this point. My custom builder buddy was at Mecum all weekend and he said that prices are going above retail. Freaking crazy right now.

From $400k for a really nicely done Jaguar, to $27k for a Pinto...

But not by a 1977 Civic. Plus, it's a SB Chevy V8 that can easily wake up and smoke 99% of Civics. Also, when was the last time a 1977 Civic crossed the auction block..............ya, I didn't think so.

 A jogger can beat a 1977 Honda Civic. We're not talking about a 1977 Honda Civic.

Believe me with almost 50,000 77 vets very few go on an auction block. Maybe a local auction block with other POS cars.

We're talking about a very slow sports car. The fit and finish was typical American 70's car made. Almost 50,000 of these smog infested cars were built with a whopping 180 HP.

It's a much better year. Better body style (rear window), better mechanicals, easier to work on, etc. For the price, hard to beat if it's as clean as it looks. :seasix:

No. Offered the gentleman what he wanted but fix the power steering assist leak......he said no.....goodbye. Lot's more out there, I'm in no rush.
