Found this article this morning.
Here's some upgrades you may want to consider:

did someone say Beretta 92????

:dance::dance:

i might have one or more of those here somewhere.

easiest improvement: drop in a 16lb D spring hammer spring.

i like my VZ grips, and the stock sights work fine for me.

i stick with Beretta or Mec-Gar magazines, 15, 17, or 18 rounders. all work fine.

I put the D spring in my 92FS, as recommended by DAB. I'm not a real experienced shooter, but it seems to be a little easier to operate. I also switched to an extended mag release, which I like better than the original. Easier on my arthritic hands.

The spring came in a kit with a steel replacement trigger. My inexperienced self can't feel any difference, but I guess steel is better than polymer.:island14:

Regarding the sights, I don't think they're the problem with my crappy shooting. :Jeff '79:

and if you have the coin, the 92x Performance Defensive (all steel, thus heavy) is a really nice version.
