Now I get to unwrap it and start learning how it works. Already got more orders stacked up for my "Let's Go Brandon" and "I didn't respect the grind -Urban Meyer" designs. :D

Remember those old Rock n Roll band, iron ons you'd buy T shirt and they'd press them on at carnivals and marts in the 70's?
I still have close to 100, all unused! YES, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Stones, etc.

Still want them? I have two heat presses that I use and my next printer will be for cranking out direct to film prints like what you are talking about.

Here's a few as an example. I do kinda hoard shit.....
There are a few doubles in the collection, let's see what is left. Keep in mind these are printed in reverse on the paper, so the true colors and glitters are right side up after ironing them on. Hard to take a good photograph thru the wax paper.....

If you want to sell any of those, I'd be glad to help cure you of your hoarding problem.

I remember getting iron-on t-shirts while at the beach in the summer. I also remember peeling off the iron-on after a few washings. Great fun but crappy way to put stuff on a t-shirt unless you are a boardwalk vendor.
The one I remember the most said "Fly the Friendly Sky of Viet Nam" and had a picture of a Rat-Fink looking pilot in an F4. At 8 I didn't know what Viet Nam was but the t-shirt looked cool as hell. Had a few iron-on North Carolina Tar Heels iron-on shirts and all of them peeled as well.

I'm interested in your finished product (especially on dark garments) after they've been washed. I spent over $25,000 on a DTG printer back in 2007, the printer came with a 3 year warranty, but the company folded and eventually the printer shit the bed.
Regardless, the media wouldn't stick to the black shirts when they were washed.

It comes out to about 400 shirts at the prices we are unloading them. See, my bidness partner who went in half on the machine with me puts on the River City Wrestling Convention here in Jax every year. We want to cut out the middle man and make the shirts ourselves for more profit.
Estimated 4K+ people coming this yearso selling 400 shirts won't be difficult at all. We found a shirt supplier (wholesale) where we can get them in various sizes for $2.00/ea. The ink costs about $1.50 per shirt. Treatment solution for dark shirts is $49.00/gal and the way I worked it out $.05/shirt. Add all that up and subtract it from the sale price of $25.00/ea and we will do real nice.
Here's the beauty.... the 400 shirts are being made to go with the VIP passes and the cost of the shirt for that is $20.00/ea. We know in advance a rough estimate of how many we know we need to make because the sale has already gone through. Brilliant right? We don't have to make batches of them and hope they sell. For regular sales, we will make a couple boxes worth and have the printer (on a rolling cart) on site to make shirts as needed.
If it doesn't work, then I'll simply say we Portered a great idea and try a new tactic

That's what the pre-treatment solution is for. This isn't putting the ink onto the shirts. It's putting it into the fibers first. Dark shirts get a layer of white ink put down first

I'm aware of this, mine worked the same way, and then after 1 or 2 washes, the entire thing would peel right off. :sadangel:

That means you didn't have your heat press set to the right pressure when you set the ink after printing.

I don't think anyone here is going to want to wear a shirt you bought for $ 2.
I personally like the Hanes "beefy-T's." People want nice, thick, well made shirts that will last, not the thinnest material out there. I used to buy concert T-shirts religiously, but after a while, I quit, because most of them were cheap shit that wouldn't hold up.

We are buying them in bulk and they are decent quality like Hanes.
Typically they cost around $3-4 each and most print shops use something like this for large jobs. I bet you have a few shirts like this hanging up in your closet or had some in the past :yesnod:

I dated what turned out to be a crazy bitch. The ***** was great but in the end it was not worth it after a smashed up windshield, a crazy encounter with her after I broke up with her. She downed a bunch of pills and slamming a 5th of vodka while blocking me in my parking spot at work yelling "If you won't have me no one will". Flash forward a year - in college my professor got a phone call (mind you she tracked me down as she didn't know where I moved to) to tell me she was pregnant. Mind you I hadn't see this crazy bitch for almost a year.
Moral of the story is no matter how good looking etc. some women are if you find a crazy one it every man for him self.
That bitch above is crazy and there is no way I'd stick my dick in it. No ***** is worth that baggage unless you are just a crazy.
