Just got back from the Orlando show (second of the tour) and it was amazingly fun. He spent half the time telling tales of a misspent youth and the second half answering questions from the crowd (he answered mine!). You may hate Iron Maiden, but this guy is pretty amazing and quick witted to. His interaction with some hecklers was brilliant. Even they laughed at it.

If he plays anywhere near you, it's certainly worth the ticket price to go see him.

I had a friend that was a huge fan. We were driving past the Bahnhof in Frankfurt Germany, when he yelled to stop the car. He jumped out and screamed “Hey Bruce!” and this guy turned, looked and then took off running. Having no interest in or understanding of Iron Maiden, I thought maybe this “Bruce” fellow owed him some money?

Who could have known he was the frontman for a (terrible) rock band ripping off Black Sabbath at the time? Have to say, I felt pretty foolish.:yesnod:

How funny, complaining they ripped off a band who did nothing but steal from Blue Cheer before them. No way it was Bruce, he wouldn't owe anyone money. IN fact, he could buy and sell both of you out of his petty cash fund. Besides being a singer he's written books and movies, been a commercial pilot (while being a singer) and owns an MRO in Wales. Besides, if it wasn't for Maiden taking a drug addled, drunk Ozzie out on the road as an opener back in the 80's, he would have been long since forgotten and gone.

Bruce is “throwing horns” because the next payment for his plane is coming due. Pure marketing nonsense but I can’t argue with the results. Dude looks like a middle school nerd but he is piloting a custom 747. Probably never been stoned in his life much less a soldier of darkness.
