PAC and BIG are jokes of the NCAA.
You wanna know why all these teams want to go to the SEC?
Because they know the polls wont over-rate a SEC team like they do the others.
But don't worry; every coach gets a bowl game...:spdchk:

Anyone know what Bowl LSU is playing at?
Baylor.* WOW!
They're going to be so good going forward with Dave Aranda at the helm and this freshman QB filling in for Bohanon.
21-3 Bears

Currently projected in the Birmingham Bowl.
I hope so, I don't want South Carolina to get stuck with that one yet again.

Knowing LSU they would take a Bowl with a 6-6 record. The Rudy Pudy Bowl since three of those wins were against McNeese St, the Chippewas from Central Michigan, and the Mighty Univ. of Louisiana Marilyn Monroe Warhawks. :spdchk: :kick:

Just looked at current rankings of Georgia opponents right now, none above 20. They really haven't been tested by a good team then. Clemson not good at all this year so that "big win" early really doesn't mean much.
So when Bama wins, does the committee have the balls to seed them and GA 2-3? Mich should#1 if they win. Cincy, after a slow start is dominating Houston. My guess if this plays out is Bama/Michigan/GA/Cincy, or Michigan/Bama/Cincy/GA.
Just 'cause SEC.

Bama would be 1 for sure, Mich win against OSU although impressive wasnt against a good team.
I haven't looked at ND /Cincy schedules to see who played better teams. Money wise ND and OSU much bigger draws as I think Cincy gets smoked against Bama or Georgia badly 1st round.

Michigan has sucked in so long Northwestern felt sorry for them even... 1st Big Ten championship since 04. Harbaugh still sucks as coach and needs to go, hopefully he gets an offer and bails.
In bad taste to run score up and score with 125 left IMO. Let the Hawkeyes have some respect, I hope Iowa beats them like a rented mule next time over it.
Iowa just didn't stop Hutch or Mich D Line.

They won the MSU game, but it was taken away by a bad call. I agree that a single bad call should not cost a game, so they should have never been in that position.
FWIW, I don't bleed for any teams, but I love football. Michigan got it done.

I was looking at Cincy schedule and other than a win over ND(which was great) they didn't play any top 20 teams. I'm worried they get blown out 1st round and another Bama Georgia game ends the same way, which is boring. Not sure Cincy can hang nor ND or OSU with the top 3 at this point. Might as well give Cinci the nod though since they beat ND, it still might be ND though who IMO would be a better opponent.

Agree. Think it may come down to the fact that the committee will not put GA and Bama in the semi's, so whatever seeding satisfies that they will go with. There might be a few teams in the (new) top ten that might be a better seed than Cincy.

I do understand your reasoning to an extent, but all of this is just made for TV to make $$.
If you want to be the best you have to beat the best. Either this week or the week after.
Networks have to make $ too, and no one wants to see bama Georgia back to back.

Bama played a statistically tougher schedule than Michigan, and capped off their season by putting together the best win of any team of the entire season over UGA in the SEC title game, and would be favored by Vegas in a match-up against Michigan. There is no objective reason for Alabama not to be ahead of Michigan, only subjective ones.
The only questionable part of the top 4 is Michigan vs. Georgia since UGA has a better loss, played a better schedule, and is favored by Vegas. However there are 2 objective reasons to have Michigan ahead of them - better signature win, and a conference championship.
Cincy #4 and no higher is a no brainer. They deserved to get in since Oklahoma State lost and they beat Notre Dame, and I'm glad they did get in. But they are not in the league of the Top 3 and ND was their singular game comparable to the half dozen or more tough games the other 3 had to play.

GA's schedule was puff. Their "big" win was over Clemson:rofl: They played no other teams that ended up in the top 20 except Bama, and they got their ass handed to them.
Bama lost to A&M, an eventual #23. There only quality win this year besides GA was MS. Beat no other teams that ended up top 20.
MI's only loss is to the #11 team, and they had a seriously questionable call that kept them from running the table. They dominated the #7 team and absolutely trounced the eventual #17 team.
I don't know how "statistically" tougher is defined, but the final rankings from 1 to 25 tell a very different story.
Bottom line is that $ kept the committee from putting Bama at 2 and GA at 3.

I read a post where some Oregon dud stated (I'll paraphrase):
"I cant wait until ***** get's his hands on some SEC QBs."
It's the golden standard, the high bar if you will.
And to be totally fair; there's some teams that don't want to go to the SEC, they like their conference. :yesnod:
(because their conference is loaded with cupcakes and they'll never be over-rated or #1 again...LOL)

Hahaha well that would be a great pickup for you guys.
:iagree:
Truth...and it's why teams want to go to the SEC, or play SEC teams.

The SEC has a ton of cupcakes too sooo...
Arkansas, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri hasn't been good in a long time, SC, Tennessee, Vanderbilt... So they have Alabama, Florida every 5 years, Georgia, LSU every 10 years, and Auburn once in a lifetime lol

You're living in the past:rofl:
The days of the SEC being tough top-to-bottom are long gone with the dilution of the conference. Certainly the top two or three can compete with anybody, but the remainder are no better than the other top conferences.
BTW, looking forward to the UT/fOSU match up. It could be brutal with those two physical teams. Hopefully smashmouth football!

We are. We took our 6-6 record with no pride considering 3 of our wins were against Div 2 teams. .

Oregon legislature passed a law in 2009 that requires the state’s public universities to interview a qualified minority candidate before making a hire. Sitake, who is Tongan, fulfills this requirement.

Oooh but I guess there was talk about him for a while. It's been rumbling around the BYU community for a couple months....
