Trying to help from afar.
Turned tv on yesterday and this is issue.
Tv is I'd say 5 years old maybe 6.
Any ideas what board I need to order for him to fix.
Model UN60JU6500FXZA
I seem to recall replacing a board few years back but not there to look.
New tv out of the question right now so any help appreciated.

Tv was unplugged overnight and different inputs tried. Eliminated the easy stuff already.

Is there an audio problem? I can't see what's wrong. Looks just like my TV. :island14:

My first generation LED Samsung just started displaying rows of horizontal lines[left to right Maddy] last night!
Now all off a sudden they've disappeared! A Thanksgiving miracle!

If I remember correctly something similar happened to me and I unplugged the TV from everything and let it sit awhile, which fixed the issue. I figured it a temporary bad signal from the cable company.

Could someone maybe have gotten into the picture settings menu and selected some odd scan rate or mode or something?

He unplugged the tv overnight hoping for it to reset something. It worked yesterday when he left and when got up later it was doing this, lives alone.

Not just the power cable, but any cable connected to the TV, have him replace any cables if possible. This looks like a good start for Samsung TV troubleshooting.

Mine displays vertical lines, and it's intermittent. Most of the time it will clear after a few minutes.

I don't see the issue. I watched cable porn for years like that as a kid.

Easy fix, take a greyhound to Cali or Minnesota and walk into a Best Buy with the other 13% and take a new one for yourself.

AOC and the rest of the Twat Squad will start demanding free cable.
