Don't you love fixed cabinets. Our massive oak entertainment center was designed for the old school CRT 42" TV's. Putting an LCD screen in there is pretty pathetic. Regardless, I haven't watched TV, or a movie in the theater in 15+ years. I do everything on my iPad with Bose headphones from my bed.

This wall unit is built in. We took out a cabinet to the left of the first TV pick to open it up! One neighbor took out the cabinet and all the shelves to the right to put in a even bigger TV.

Fortunately no previous owner put cabinets in ours so a 70” fits great with the speakers. The awesome flooring leads to the master bathroom that’s being remodeled. :D

One nice thing was the new TV was priced at 799.00 on Sunday. Today when I went to buy it the price was 689.00.

Hopefully they have price match. I bought a new laptop from Best Buy a few weeks ago. About a week after I bought it BB dropped the price $300. I went on-line and chatted to them about their price match not expecting them to honor their own price drop but they did! Just yesterday I noticed the price went back up to what I paid. I won this round!!! Never hurts to ask.

Went from old house w fixed Alcove cabinet and 46”, smart. In a 18x24’ great room to new house with same space and 85” on wall :coolest:
