View Full Version : 100% in the Miners
Moved all my paper assets into Miners last week. Half in Schiff’s EuroPac fund, the rest split between Newmont and Barrick (and none in Bitcoin).
Screw “diversity”, I’m gonna be so rich. :yesnod:

I like the concept.
But there's that little problem with the market's ability to remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent.
Oh, and I think you meant diversification, not diversity. But diversity works too.

I'm counting on "irrational", hence the lack of "diversification", plus Newmont and Barrick pay dividends. :seasix:

I'd love to hear more. First, did you really put all your paper assets into two miners? Oh wait, you said also Schiff's Europac fund also. Do you mean specifically the EP Gold Fund EPGFX? When you say you're counting on "irrational" aren't we already irrational that gold is priced the way it is? Gold is up a bit lately. How far do you think it will run and how long until it gets there? Why Merrick and Newmont? Why go into EPGFX (if that's what you chose)? Have you considered any gold royalty stocks, like Franco-Nevada (FNV)? (FNV went up 50% since March.) Would love to hear any details you might like to share about your thinking.

"Barrick".
Yep EPGFX and irrational can be applied to just about everything in today's markets.
History suggests we are in a currency crisis that (eventually) brings the current fiat order to an end and a return to a gold standard of some sort? I suspect gold's price in dollars could be infinite and though I don't think that's a good thing it could be an opportunity for folks prepared.
I've seen podcasts about royalty corps but I feel comfortable with the fund and companies I mentioned. To each their own but I don't feel a need to participate in that space at the moment.
