ROGERSVILLE, AL - A Shoals woman is out of jail on bond accused of running over a mother and daughter at a local ball park.

43-year-old Malana White is charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of reckless endangerment.

It all happened at the youth softball field in Rogersville.

It happened Sunday afternoon when two women got into an argument after a little league game. Authorities tell us Malana White got into her vehicle and ran over her husband's ex wife. Not just once but three times.

Authorities say a custody issue with the victim's children started the whole ordeal.

"We had a call in to city park of a domestic call involving child custody. When the officer arrived he saw a crowd around the car," said Rogersville City Chief Terry Holden.

Chief Holden says White is accused of using her car as a weapon running over Mona Tucker and her daughter Christy.

"She ran over Mrs. Tucker's daughter first pinning her against the car. Then backed up and ran over Mrs. Tucker, backed up again and ran over her," said Chief Holden.

White was charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of reckless endangerment.

Chief Holden says what makes this crime even more disturbing is the fact that dozens of children at the ball park saw everything.

"There were probably 70 witnesses. It was picture day at the ball park. This happened in front of a lot of children and their parents witnessed it," adds Chief Holden.

Tucker's family members say she went through surgery at Huntsville Hospital for a broken leg, back and pelvis Monday morning. Her recovery process will be a long one.

Authorities say White could face more charges.

Christy Tucker's grandfather said she suffered injuries to her leg but is expected to be ok.
