Fleetwood Mac before they sold out... Always thought I hated them until my best friend bought this album for me. Now I just hate what they became without Peter Greene. Sorry for the ad in the YT. Search for Fleetwood Mac 1968 full album on TY to hear more.

Edited to add another great blues tune. As with Fleetwood Mac, I knew little of Boz Skaggs aside from a couple pop hits until I heard this effort with with Duane Allman. Even has the Memphis Horns. It's really long but IMO worth kicking back for 12+ minutes. There's a live version on Youtube with Skaggs and his crew that's good as well but I like this better.

That has Gilmour all over it. Don't know who influenced who, but that 60's/70's UK stuff is amazing.

Peter Green was before Gilmore. Peter Green was with John Mayall before anyone knew who David Gilmore was and he started Fleetwood Mac before David Gilmore was relevant.

Before they were Pink Floyd, Waters, Mason, and Wright were were heavy into blues. Don't know about Gilmore prior to '68 when he replaced Barrett, but he had it figured out when this was recorded in '71.

Most all British groups from the 60's played 50's rock and roll and blues.
