I picked up a .30 caliber cleaning kit and the guy also had 500 .223 bullets at a decent price. Sent the USPS money order and when it was received, he mailed the box.

It finally arrived and it was a little "noisier" than it should have been.

I opened the mailing box , removed the bubble pack and was greeted by this :banghead:

I weighed what was left of the bullets ( 55 grain ) and calculated there was 458 bullets left in the box from the original 500.

He's sending another 42 bullets but a simple piece of tape or rubber band around the box would have prevented this mess.

Understand you pain......auction house in TX job...........this could have been bad... bounced against each other from TX to VA

Before Comifornia law stopped on-line ammo purchases I Bulked up on my stash. I chuckled about every other day watching our 60+yr old mail lady lugging a 40lb box up to the door (of course if I was home I'd get it for her) :seasix:
