Mom hung up on me

I call Mom at least once a week. We both know our political sides and don't go down that rabbit hole. Tonight she brought up the "Nextdoor" website which I watch to keep up on my neighborhood. I told her I don't post on there because I get crap from people about my views on stuff, said the the last thing I posted was about "Commifornia" and I took a bunch of shit over it on the site, she went into a tizzy calling me a right wing nut and hung up.

Sorry to hear. I'm somewhat in the same boat with my wife who I love dearly, but we respect each others political views. I listen to both sides, but she refuses to hear a conservative site or opinion.

I don't even speak to my parents anymore. I have nothing in common with them other than DNA. They're sheep. Fell victim to the propaganda, and I failed to break them free. So it's a lost cause now. They both took the vax, so we'll see how long they last. It's likely their days are now numbered as they both have underlying health issues.

I never post on NextDoor either - but it's fun to read the rantings of all the uptight entitled Karens on there. Just yesterday some bimbo was bitching about being "bullied" by another driver because she blocked the driveway into her gated community while the driver in front of her was dialing in to open the gate. Turns out the guy was a resident and had a remote control to open the gate and didn't need to wait for the guest in front, but this dimbot decided that nobody should be allowed to cut in line so she blocked him. And she has the audacity to complain when he leaned on his horn and crewed her out for it. :rolleyes:
