Not missing bugs. At all. Can't wait to see posts of people scooping them with shovels. Also, the bold folks that cook'em up!:seasix:

They must have heard that Joe Biden is acting as the president and is welcoming hordes of undesirables, so here they come!

Looks like our part of Pennsy is getting pounded with them.

Be nice if they'd chow on all the lovely Lantern Flys that China has graced us with.
Those little peckers are chowing on our trees and have no real adversaries to speak of.

C'mon Rambo! Get a flamethrower and be a hero!:D

We almost eradicated the Japanese beetles in our VA neighborhood because we teamed up and gave them the death bags for 10 years.

I don't know what a Lantern Fly is, but I'm pretty sure that you can make a big dent if y'all put your mind to it!

They munch the hell out of almost every tree except evergreens. They get into the bark and put a hurtin' on the trees.

I'm not sure the article is 100% correct. The cicadas around here are on a 17 year cycle, and were just winding up their time when we moved here in July of 1996, but there were millions of skins left behind. These pictures were taken in late May of 2013. We don't expect them back until 2030.

I hate those loud bastards. We get them every year in So. Louisiana. They’re so loud that I can’t enjoy setting out on the deck for a month. Then come the deer flies and you really have a good time feeding them during a walk in the woods.

and handing them taxpayers money, and mail-in ballots.

We have an annual species here too, but their numbers are much smaller. They make a noise from mid-July to early September, but there aren't enough of them to be much of a bother. Now the 17-year brood, there were literally millions of them in our neighborhood. From late May to late June, going outside sounded like the soundtrack to a bad 1950s sci-fi movie. It was very weird, but only lasted a few weeks.
